Job Description
OPRA has an exciting opportunity for an Equine Liability Account Handler, working for an insurance broker based in Thurrock, Essex.
They specialise in an array of distinct fields. They have more than 50 years of experience in horse insurance, more than 40 years of experience in funeral and private hire insurance.
The role purpose is to handle all communications and documentation in an efficient and accurate manner, within company guidelines. To be competent to deal with Underwriting queries.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid model. You will be required to work 1 in 6 Saturdays (9am – 12pm), which will be work from home.
Role Duties:
* Handle post and telephone calls for all liability schemes handled in the Equestrian Service Department
* Process adjustments, renewals and issuing new business documents for all liability schemes handled in the Equestrian Service Department
* Ensure all policy documentation is accurate and within compliance timescales.
* Refer to Insurers or Equestrian Service Manager as and when necessary.
* Deal with overdue transactions and ensure that client monies are processed accurately.

Essential Skills:
* Has liability or insurance experience; essential.
* Equine knowledge; desirable
* Good organisational skills
* Ensure deadlines are met and work under pressure without supervision.
* Working well within a team
* The ability to build rapport with both customers and brokers is essential.
