ROLE – Mechanical Design Engineer
LOCATION – Lincoln
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £25,000 to £35,000 per annum

Premier Group are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Designer to join the NPD team of a company working on the design of a range of electronic packaging/ enclosures for use in a range of sectors.  
 
You will be taking a leading role on the projects and assuming a large amount of responsibility. The materials in use would be mostly plastic.

Ideally, we would like you to:

Knowledge of Plastic Injection Moulding
Be skilled in using 3D CAD software
Be able to create models / prototypes
Be technically minded
Have a product design/ engineering related degree
Have experience designing products/ projects from concept to completion
Strong Design for Manufacture skillsResponsibilities:

Design and develop a range of bespoke enclosures and packaging for electronic products
Working within the current engineering team
Producing engineering documents in line with contracts and projects
Producing 3D designs using CAD software
Generating the BOM’s to go with the associated designs
