Enterprise Data Architect

Our client, an FTSE 100 corporation that helps connect millions of people globally is recruiting an Enterprise Data Architect who has strong experience designing/architecting end-to-end data solutions across business functions. The chosen candidate must have recent industry experience working within retail, travel, or e-commerce sectors coupled with direct project experience in developing single customer views using solutions like Customer Data Platforms (CDP). Our client is looking to pay a basic salary of £100,000 to £115,000 (circa) plus a 30% bonus with other excellent benefits with the expectancy to be on-site one to two days per week.
The DA team is expected to have a broad understanding of Data structures across all the systems within specific domains. This role is focused on the cross-functional enterprise IT domains of Data Management, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, and Data Integration utilizing technologies such as Apache Knox, Boomi, Kinesis, Kafka, MuleSoft, Tibco, and Informatica. An awareness of these technologies is preferred as this post is focused on strategy/direction.
Role responsibilities:

Significant experience in developing Single Customer view using solutions like Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
Good experience in designing APIs and have things to say about caching, authentication and authorisation, schemas, REST, request validation, idempotency, partial updates, and eventual consistency.
To shape and manage the future direction of our client's technology architecture, with a primary focus on our enterprise-scope Data domains, by:
Develop the Master Data strategy for effective coordination and governance across our client's estate.
Lead cross-functional Data design workshops to identify best-in-class solutions.
Guide programs and teams on best practices and principles around Master Data Management especially around Customer Domain.
Working closely with colleagues to build and maintain valuable and productive working relationships and ensure that the needs of the business are met.
Significant experience in defining data architecture and governance policies and principles in an organization, and the assurance processes to monitor compliance.
Develop & maintain logical and physical data models and databases for business solutions, data dictionaries, and data governance frameworks.
Significant experience in assuring and designing data migrations, including technology choices, reconciliation approaches, and implementation strategies.
Develop and govern the enterprise Reference and Master data management standards.
Core skill set:

Expertise in delivering data architecture on Customer data platform (CDP) solutions (Must Have)
Expertise in data & integration architecture including topics such as service orientation, APIs, event-driven architectures, batch data integration, data lakes, ‘data mesh, data warehousing, data management, etc. (Must Have)
Familiarity with patterns, practices, and frameworks of Enterprise Architecture within retail, travel, or e-commerce sectors (Must Have).
Multi-system data Integration awareness using industry standards such as SOA, EAI, BPI, and API using API Gateway, iPaaS, and ESB technologies such as Apache Knox, Boomi, Kinesis, Kafka, MuleSoft, Tibco, Informatica from an architectural perspective (Must Have)
Extensive Enterprise Data modeling experience from conceptual to logical models.
Taking long-term ownership of the data models and analytical products built on top of them.
Extensive experience working with Data Modelling tools like Erwin Data Modeller, and ER Studio.
Expertise in governance and assurance for enterprise data (data models, resources, products, etc.) and integration (e.g., interfaces, Events, etc.)
Database schema design and administration experience (for relational and non-relational systems) in a production environment.
