Remote Support Engineer

Location – Ramsgate, Kent

Salary - £21,500 per annum

Benefits – Quarterly performance bonus, 20 days per annum leave & bank holidays

We have an exciting opportunity in Ramsgate for a Remote Support Engineer to work for one of our clients. This role would be perfect for individuals who thrive working within a computer orientated environment and enjoy problem solving.

In this role, you will be working full-time.

Responsibilities

* Troubleshoot desktop and server problems reported by customers andor monitoring systems by remote assistance and access means

* Offer full Office-wide IT support

* Deal with and manage group policies and aid with MS 365 set-up and issues-solving

* Manage and adjust Networking (LANWANWLANVLAN), firewalls, Access Points, and network switches for remote-based clients

* Support clients by providing solutions to incidents and problems

* Contribute to internal policies, procedures, and processes to improve service level

* Accountable for prioritising and managing several open support requests at once

* Keeping daily accurate records and documentation up to date with all the latest SOP practices

* Maintain detailed and relevant notes and customers in a clear and concise manner

* Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

* Ability to deliver top-class service assistance

* Must have a passion and understanding of all things IT-related

* Ability to pick up new skills and practices essential to the role

* Must have top-level communication skills, both written and verbal

* Essential that the candidate has good time management

* Proven ability to work under pressure
