Credit Controller
Term Time only - 40 hours per week
£20,000 - £24,500, pro rata

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join the growing head office finance department based in Barnsley.
This role will support Operam Education Group with managing collection of payments and debts and responding to client enquiries. Previous credit control experience is a benefit, however not essential as full training will be given. What is essential however is a positive attitude, great communication skills both verbal and written and comfortable managing different work streams.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring timely payment of debts, through excellent customer service via phone, email and written correspondence
* Proactively identify and resolve any payment issues, disputes, or discrepancies, working closely with the consultants
* Resolving internal and external queries
* Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies
Required Experience
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and targets
* Experience of working in an office environment, ideally in a similar role
* Previous customer service experience
* Time management skills
* Attention to detail
* Comfortable working with systems and MS office
