The Credit Control team is growing incredibly fast due to some big acquisitions so they are recruiting for 2 Credit Control Team Leaders. You will be running a small team (3/4) and therefore, some management experience is required.

We are looking for you to have a strong background within a credit control department and a detailed understanding of debt recovery processes.

Some of the main duties will be:

Day to day management of small sub team and the management of the team in the absence of Credit Control Manager
Maximising collections to reduce outstanding debtor day figures
Assist in developing and training for a more efficient credit control team
Initiation and management of legal proceedings and administration duties for accounts in liquidation
Responsible for requesting restriction of services and decide whether to start legal action
Point of escalation for reconciliations
Negotiate complex payment plans with customers

You will need excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, along with good attention to detail and Excel skills to be successful in this role. The ability to listen to customers and negotiate winning solutions in a calm, confident manner is required.

Any previous experience in an IT or Telco industry experience is desirable.

Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 per annum
