Vice President Senior Manager – Credit Risk Audit/Assurance London – Up to GBP110,000 + Discretionary Bonus & Additional Benefits Gresham Hunt has been mandated by one of our Global Banking clients to find an experienced Credit Risk Professional to join their 3rd LoD audit & assurance team with a focus on Credit.

They are open to candidates that don't come from an Auditing/Assurance background provided they have the relevant Credit Risk experience. This is a great opportunity for candidates either looking to make their first move into a 3rd LoD role with clear progression mapped out from the start.

Responsibilities of the role: Act as the lead on Credit Audits/Reviews & delegate tasks to members of the team
Work together with the Director & Head of Audit on Credit Risk Universe, risk assessments and provide succinct advice on strategic plans when required
Review, debate & challenge of borrower ratings & facility risk management across various regions, industries & sectors
Maintain good knowledge of regulatory bodies & any regulatory updates within that could have an impact on the bank
Be responsible for effective communication across all levels & divisions of the banking group within the Credit Risk Audit/Assurance capacity
The successful candidate will have: Significant experience in Credit Risk, having operated in either a 1st & 2nd LoD capacity and/or 3rd LoD capacity at a leading financial institution
Strong understanding of key regulations that affect a Corporate Banking Group
Ability to manage & mentor more junior individuals
Excellent interpersonal skills & a proven ability to manage key stakeholders & regulators
Ability to work independently as well as part of team
