Job Description

The Credit & Lending Product Solutions team within Commercial Banking Solutions is responsible for the management of JPMorgan's Commercial Banking suite of wholesale lending products, the firmwide credit & lending product hierarchy, and the delivery of lending solutions. Key functions of the team include managing and developing existing & new products organized by vertical, the wholesale lending product catalog, product standardization initiatives, field enablement, product governance, product data, revenue management & analytics.

The International Credit & Lending Product Manager will report to the global Head of Credit & Lending Product Solutions and help define and execute on the product strategy for all international markets. This leader will also manage a small international team of product managers, currently including an APAC product manager based in Singapore.

International Credit & Lending Products scope includes:

Traditional bi-lateral commercial lending

Syndicated and complex corporate lending

Leveraged lending

Collateral-based loans such ABL

Specialty lending structures

Credit support of Trade Finance

Credit support of Wholesale Payments

Select types of CRE lending

Key responsibilities focused on International aspects

Influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Banking, Credit Risk, Wholesale Lending Services, Credit Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Digital, and other Product teams to execute on team objectives

Drive end-to-end management and launch of credit & lending product offerings to clients, including managing NBIA (New Business Initiatives Approvals) and Change Management initiatives

Guide and update common standards for product sales, structuring and execution

Provide governance and monitoring of deals falling outside of documented structuring and pricing standards

Review local regulations and update P&P's (policies & procedures) as appropriate

Drive and report to senior management on special projects and business cases driven by LOB strategy, regulatory or product transformation strategies

Provide oversight for updates to product hierarchy and features library to ensure international region-specific lending product requirements are consistently referenced and identified across financial, operational and client reporting

Partner with Product Analytics teams to enhance product reporting and insights

Manage towards effective key performance indicators (KPIs) and results, including product adoption, pricing, revenue, cost management, and capital efficiency

Provide product training, commercialization and change readiness support as necessary to international bankers and other partners to drive Field Enablement

Select deal advisory to the field, typically on new or complex international products & features that require Product review or escalation

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

12+ years' experience with growing responsibilities in either commercial banking product management, corporate banking, commercial lending or credit

Deep understanding of lending ecosystems and the financing needs of corporate and/or real estate clients; Highly skilled at structuring and handling complex solutions to meet client needs

Demonstrated expertise in lending products and end-to-end credit delivery spanning banking/sales, underwriting and/or operations

Track record of success in leading large-scale initiatives and strategic projects across various product or banking teams, driven by strong project management skills with a well-organized, structured approach

Creative problem-solving skills, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions

Proven ability to build, lead and motivate a team, while collaborating with stakeholders

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with influencing experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related Master's Degree

Experience collaborating across functional groups including sales, service, compliance and legal teams

Ability to maintain control environment and process management

Exposure to various international regulatory environments

Experience with designing or delivering complex, digital and product initiatives, as well as digital transformation and technology innovation
