SF Recruitment are currently working with a thriving business based in Derby who are looking for a Credit Controller to join a small and successful Credit Control team, reporting in to the Credit Control Supervisor on a fixed term contract.
The client are a fast-paced and growing company looking for a candidate who will collaborate with management and the sales department to implement effective credit control. You should have experience interacting and working with customers to ensure their needs are met and that their credit fits in with the current risk portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
Daily chasing of aged debt
Review new and existing customer credit limits.
Liaising with other departments regarding the despatch of held orders and proforma accounts
Facilitating the effective resolution of invoice related queries.
Processing and allocating card payments
Checking and posting of receipts to SAP
Providing administrative support to the team
The Ideal Candidate:
Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts
Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
Ability to Communicate with customers and colleagues clearly and effectively (by phone and by email) to negotiate account solutions
Ability to maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Professional, confident with decision making and diplomatic when liaising with others
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Enjoys problem solving
Experience with SAP preferred
