Galent Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with an established outsourcing firm in Otley, Leeds, in their search for a dedicated Credit Control Team Leader to join their dynamic team.
About the Role:
As the Credit Control Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing the credit control team and ensuring the smooth operation of the credit control process. Your responsibilities will include:
Duties:
* Setting and monitoring SLAs/KPIs, providing regular reports on team performance.
* Conducting performance reviews, ensuring Ledger reviews are scheduled weekly, and 121 meetings are held monthly.
* Reviewing unallocated cash and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
* Leading the recruitment process for credit control staff, ensuring a comprehensive induction is provided to new team members.
* Project planning and onboarding of new customers.
* Managing credit risk while effectively collecting debtor balances.
* Identifying process inefficiencies and implementing continuous improvements.
* Liaising with Auditors and providing required information within tight deadlines.
* Providing ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities for existing team members.
Attributes and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing a team of Credit Controllers.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Excel for spreadsheet analysis.
