Credit Controller in Kingston upon Hull - CV-Library

Due to our expansion across the United Kingdom, we are continuing to invest in line with the company's ambitious growth plans and are continuing to expand our team and are currently recruiting for an energetic and self-motivated Full Time Credit Controller on a permanent basis, to join and help our friendly accounts and payroll team.

Working from our state-of-the-art offices in Hull, you will be required to undertake a variety of duties across our group of companies, which will include but not limited to the following:

Role of the Credit Controller

* Management of customer accounts by chasing the companies debts via phone, email and letter within agreed timescales

* Cleaning of historic debt including high value invoices

* Prompt and accurate allocation of customer payments

* Recommend legal proceedings against customers when needed

* Monitor and manage current and overdue debt on sales ledger

* Log all customer queries onto the relevant IT system and deal with in an efficient and timely manner

* Monitor credit limits and request new limits as required

The Ideal Candidate must have

* Proven credit control background

* Ability to work in a standalone role

* Excellent communication and relationship building skills and in particular developing business relationships in order to retrieve debts

* Proactive attitude and hands on approach along with being highly accurate, tenacious, assertive and possess strong negotiating skills

* Computer literate in Excel

Mon - Fri 08:30 - 17:00

Salary

£23,000 - £25,000 DOE
