The Role: Credit Control Manager

Responsibilities
As a Credit Control Manager at PIB Group, your responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of credit controllers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
Credit Policy Management: Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures to minimize financial risk and maximize cash flow.
Customer Engagement: Foster positive relationships with clients to facilitate timely payments and address any payment-related issues or concerns.
Performance Monitoring: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of credit control efforts and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on credit control metrics, providing insights and recommendations to the finance team and senior management.
Debt Recovery: Oversee the process of debt recovery, working closely with legal and collections teams when necessary to ensure outstanding debts are addressed promptly and professionally.
Compliance Management: Stay up to date with industry regulations and compliance standards, ensuring all credit control practices adhere to legal requirements.
Experience
To excel in this role, you should have:
Proven Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in effectively leading and managing a team of credit controllers.
Hands-on Credit Control Experience: A solid background in credit control is essential, including experience in debt recovery and credit policy management.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, including cash flow management, risk assessment, and financial reporting.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize credit control processes.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards related to credit control.
