Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
Benefits: Hybrid working options after 6 months + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Location: Immingham
An experienced Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller is required for a permanent position with an international company in Immingham. The role requires good systems literacy, attention to detail and able to work to deadlines. You must be a skilled communicator with the ability to form excellent business relationships.
THE ROLE:
Proactively handle the collection of customer debt related queries in both UK & Ireland
Daily posting of bank transactions and clear customer accounts.
Input the aged debtors reports for the above customers prior to distribution
Process customer credit card payments as necessary and assist with the office CRM system
Support with the Accounts Payable and General Ledger function as required.
Provide support and assist with month end and year end closing and reporting activities.
Liaise with internal and external stake holders in a professional manner
Support financial accountant on General Ledger activities as required.
THE CANDIDATE:
A skilled communicator at all levels you form excellent working relationships at all levels, have a proactive approach to meet deadlines and enjoy a team playing environment
Previous experience in broad based accounts duties and credit control in particular is essential
A high degree of systems literacy is required along with accuracy and attention to detail
