About the Client: Our client is a well-established home interiors supplier based in Corby, known for providing high-quality products that enhance the beauty of homes. They are seeking a Credit Controller to contribute to their finance team's success.
Your Role and Responsibilities: As a Credit Controller for our client, your primary focus will be managing daily tasks related to debt collection and maintaining positive customer relationships within the home interiors industry. Here's what you'll be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts and customer payments in the home interiors sector.
Maintaining contact with customers to clarify invoice details and facilitate payments related to home decor and furnishings.
Handling account queries, both internal and external, and issuing credits when necessary.
Negotiating repayment plans with customers interested in home interiors.
Monitoring customers on payment plans and addressing missed payments related to home interior purchases.
Accurately recording daily receipts in the client's accounting systems, specifically tailored to the home interiors business.
Providing accounts-related information to the client's internal teams specialising in home decor and furnishings.
Implementing credit control processes within the client's systems, escalating issues when needed within the context of home interiors.
Assisting with the setup of new customer accounts following Credit Control procedures relevant to home interiors.
Managing office paperwork efficiently, particularly for transactions related to home interior products and decor.Your Qualifications:
A strong understanding of Credit Control processes.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make outbound calls within the home interiors industry.
Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks, especially when dealing with home decor and furnishings.
