A well-established manufacturing company based in Halifax is recruiting a Credit Controller to join their fast-paced team on a full time, permanent basis. On offer is a salary of £24,000 per annum and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free onsite parking. The role is offered on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company with hybrid working, within a well-established team. The successful candidate will be offered a full training and development programme along with opportunity for growth.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:

Bank reconciliations
Sales Ledger
Maintaining accuracy with invoicing
Strong communication for telephone collections
Problem solving
Assisting with Invoice queries
Data input
Electronic filingThe successful Credit controller will have excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail and will need to be proficient in Microsoft Excel and word.

To be successful in this role, individuals will ideally:

Have previous experience in credit control, accounts assistant or purchase ledger
Experience with Sage 500 (Desirable)
Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines.
Be highly organised and manage own workload effectively.
Strong attention to detail
Fully competent with Microsoft Word and ExcelCompany Benefits:
