Credit Controller in Wakefield - CV-Library

Our client is a well-known manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Wakefield. This Credit Control position is reporting into the Financial Controller. The main duties of the role will be the chasing of aged debt mainly via the telephone. This role will suit a candidate who has worked in the manufacturing sector previously. Due to the nature of the role our client is looking for a self-starter and someone who can work on their own initiative.

Duties will include:

* Managing your own ledger of clients
* Building relationships with clients and working through queries and escalate any problem clients or debts
* Completion of customer account reconciliations and customer queries
* You will need strong communication skills and be a strong negotiator
* Ideally you will have good IT skills including good Excel skills

Due to the nature of this job, you will need to be resilient and have a can-do attitude.
