Long-established business in the construction industry, who are specialists in their field. They are based in the Knowsley area of Liverpool.

Your new role
As the sole Credit Controller for the business you will be responsible for ensuring the timely payment of services.
Your responsibilities will include:

Construction Industry based Credit procedures, involving Applications for Payment, VAT Invoices and Retentions.
Ensure customers pay within agreed payment terms; contacting customers by phone and email
Obtain remittance advices to support customer receipts
Forecast / cash flow
Maintain and monitor customer balances to ensure credit insurance credit limits are not exceeded
Liaising with internal managers on matters relating customer payments and to ensure swift resolution of customer queries
Ensuring compliance of the company credit insurance policy
Manage credit limits set for each customer
Assist with the credit insurance annual renewal process
Maintain customer records
Generate monthly reports to show the status of aged debt
Debt analysis

What you'll need to succeed
Previous Credit Control experience. It is desirable that you have experience of working within the construction industry.
