Job Description

The Credit Controller is part of the Finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager and working in close partnership with the Accounts Assistant. You will have regular communication with the dealer network, internal sales team and Customer Services.

This is a hybrid role (once up and running) working 3 days in the Camberley based office and 2 days from home. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm on a permanent basis.

The role has a broad range of duties and would suit someone who can bring a little something extra to the department and be a valued member of the accounts team. You will be proactive, have innovative ideas and be confident in challenging issues.

The role is responsible for the credit control function, ensuring collection of monies owed in accordance with trading terms and conditions. The Credit Controller controls customer accounts, authorises credit limits, prepares credit reviews and oversees statement runs and the stop process.

You will be able to build a strong relationship with the dealer network and be able to resolve queries and disputes effectively

Key responsibilities:

* Responsible for the collection of sales ledger debts, using appropriate methods

* Required to build good working relationships with the dealer network

* Monitoring and controlling all customer accounts

* Authorisation of credit limits within approved levels

* Preparation of credit reviews with appropriate recommendations for approval

* Resolution of queries and disputes with dealers

* Administration of sales accounts in CRM

* Approving release of credit held orders within agreed limits

* Overseeing production of statement runs and subsequent stop process

* Ad-hoc accounting duties, including departmental absence cover

* Carry out any reasonable requests as required by the Managing Director

Experience:

* Experience using SAP

* Liaising directly with customers

* Qualifications or a desire to achieve them
