Credit Controller (Part-time) - Ringwood - Up to £15ph DOE
Our local client is one of the UK’s leading Steel Suppliers, who are looking for a Credit Controller to work from their Head Office in Ringwood, on a Part-Time basis.
Do you have experience working as a Credit Controller, an excellent telephone manner and the ability to work through Excel spreadsheets, allocating experience and a keen eye for detail?
Duties of the role:
* Review and analyse customer accounts to identify outstanding invoices, overdue payments, and discrepancies
* Contacting customers via phone, email, or mail to remind them of overdue payments and inquire about payment status
* Updating customer records, including contact information, payment terms, and credit limits as needed
* Escalating collection efforts when necessary, which may involve involving a collections agency or legal action
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers while still enforcing credit terms and collection policies
* Utilising financial software and tools to manage accounts receivable and conduct financial analysis
Key Competencies:
* Credit control experience
