SF is working exclusively with a dynamic and growing business, with a high performing Credit team of 13. The team has grown a lot over the last 4 years, thus the Head of Credit is looking to bring in a 2nd Credit Control Team Lead, to support, steer and lead a team of 6-7 Credit Controllers. The team is a real mix of personalities, experience and abilities, it is also spread out across the UK across 3 different sites, thus the ability to lead and manage people remotely is key.
In your new role
You will performance manage a team of 6-7 Credit Controllers
Support the team with escalations, queries and problem accounts
Strive for process improvements, getting involved in project work across the Order to Cash function
Report back to the business on a regular basis on KPIs set out by the Head of Credit and Finance Director
What you'll need
Strong people management/performance management skills, leading with empathy
5+ years Credit experience
CICM qualified or studying towards is desirable but not essential
Ability to do the occasional travel to one of the other offices. Maximum 10 times in a year.
Sage system experience is desirable but not essential
Strong Excel skills (vlookups & pivots)
