Colour Supplies is an independent home & garden centre with multiple outlets; we are looking to expand our kitchen design team with a vacancy to be routinely based at our Whitchurch branch. Our small showroom at Whitchurch is complemented by our wider offering in Wrexham and Oswestry and we require an experienced kitchen designer to drive our sales forward.

The role encompasses the design, ordering and fulfillment of a customer's dream kitchen; utilising your skills to understand the customer requirements and design a kitchen to their tastes and budget. We use Winner and EQ as our design and quoting software, experience in these would be preferred although training can be given to the successful applicant with previous design software experience.

The successful applicant will be proactive and able to integrate into an encumbent team, covering the sales process from customer introduction to final installation, ensuring customer expectations are managed throughout and supplier and fitter issues are dealt with on a timely basis.

Our kitchen team currently consists of a designer based in each of our Wrexham and Oswestry branches and a head of kitchens who supports the branch staff and offers a home measure service, as well as our branch management team and Sales Manager who oversees all shop floor sales staff.

We offer fitted kitchens, bedrooms and lifestyle furniture from Crown Imperial, Lifestyle and It's All In The Image, all reputable UK manufacturers and have direct accounts for Bosch & Neff as well as AEG appliances and routinely use Waterline for electrical appliances. Having direct accounts with Leyton Lighting and Karndean flooring also enable us to cross sell the entire kitchen or bedroom requirements, not forgetting both tiles and paint which are a large part of our business.

The Whitchurch branch being in a small market town has shorter hours than our larger branches, opening hours being Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, and Saturday 9am to 5pm, with Sunday and Bank Holiday working required only periodically. The branch is routinely closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Your contract would be full time with a 37.5 hour week, usually working 4 weekdays and the Saturday.

The role is a permanent full time position and the salary advertised is negotiable depending on experience.
