You will be contributing to our market intelligence service, providing analytical research for senior decision makers in banks, consultancies, multinational corporations, investment funds and government agencies. Significant relevant analyst experience required, including in a global role. Qualifications: MA/MSc/PhD Economics or similar. CFA level I, II or II not necessary, but beneficial. London or Singapore based, with travel opportunities to meet clients and participate in global conferences Role Work as part of a team of four Global economists that focus on providing the thought leadership for the wider macroeconomic research team. Conduct economic & financial market analysis and forecasting for the largest developed and emerging markets. Focus will include the interplay between financial markets (currency, fixed income and equities) and macroeconomic trends. Write and coordinate written research publications with a focus on broad trends in currency, fixed income and equity markets as well as macroeconomics and political risk. Work on developing proprietary data sets that add analytical value Liaise with senior analysts to discuss and help define key themes across different regions. Engage with clients and participate in conferences to discuss Fitch Solutions’ key global macro and market views. Mentor junior analysts, helping them to connect financial market and macro views and sharpen their currency forecasting.
