A specialist and very well-established accountancy firm with an interesting and niche client base is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper who can work with a varied range of clients, processing monthly/quarterly/annual records leading to VAT return and extended trial balance.

This is role for someone who has strong Bookkeeping and Payroll experience.

This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic firm and work with a great team of people in a varied role offering flexibility in hours and the opportunity to work from home part of the time. In this role your main responsibilities will be:

  • Day to day bookkeeping which may include posting invoices, monthly bank recs, preparing the P&L and balance sheet and credit control for a portfolio of clients
  • Raising and issuing invoices on behalf of clients
  • Liaising with clients to resolve questions on bookkeeping and invoices
  • Payroll for multiple clients end to end
  • RTI
  • Autoenrolment
  • CIS returns
  • P11'D's



  • Bookkeeping experience in a practice environment;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Strong IT skills;
  • Ability to work effectively within a team;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.


  • Payroll experience using Sage payroll.
  • Display technical understanding of tax reporting
