Your new role
Your new job working as a Broker Support Technician/ Account Handler will join their established International Property and Casualty Technical Team based in their London office. As a Broker Support Technician/ Account Handler you will be responsible for an all-encompassing and diverse role. Duties will include, the production of all technical documentation; MRC Slips, Endorsements, Credit/ Debit notes and Presentations. You will be responsible for assisting the team with premium signings and dealing with Xchanging. Due to the nature of the position, you will also be expected to support the Broker in servicing client accounts, managing their technical needs and be confident enough to liaise and keep up with the demands of clients and underwriters. Furthermore, you will have sound knowledge of Open Market & Binder International Property & Casualty risks, predominately risks emanating from the US.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an International Property and Casualty Technician/ Account Handler or having undertook a Technical role within a Brokers will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally you will have experience of working at a Lloyd's Brokers within a Technical facet and understand how to produce MRC slips and related Technical documentation. You will be confident in your ability to liaise and managing client needs - be accurate and timely when it comes to producing all technical documentation and have a deep understanding of International Property & Casualty risks. You will be required to have strong computer skills (ideally Sequel, Brokersure or Global XB) and aptitude to learn bespoke packages, attention and have a good eye for detail are essential. This role would suit an Account Handler/ Technician who wishes to work in the City.
