Graduate Recruitment Consultant - Central London

Position - Graduate Recruitment Consultant

Sector - Energy (Oil and Gas, Renewables, Nuclear, Smart, Power, Finance, Trading and Mining)

Location - Central London

Salary - £22k basic with uncapped commission £45k OTE 1st year, £55k OTE 2nd year

Who will you be working for?

My client is the World’s fastest growing energy recruitment agency. Energy is a booming industry in recruitment with no shortage of roles to fill! My client has used their expertise in reputation in the market to turn over £35million their third year, and just over £50million in their fourth. Just at the beginning of their fifth year now they see no sign of the growth slowing. Currently with 300 staff in their office across the Globe they are looking to increase by another 100 over the course of the year. As a graduate recruitment consultant with my client you will be given all the tools to embark on a very successful career.

What will you be doing?

As a graduate recruitment consultant with my client you will join a number of other graduate recruitment consultant in a graduate academy designed to make sure all new recruitment consultants have everything they need to succeed.

The role of a graduate recruitment consultant will involve a lot of work on the phones. An average day will consist of:

·Creating advertisements to attract candidates

·Use personal networks and social media to attract candidates and generate leads for new business

·Filter CVs and call potential candidates

·Interview and prep candidates

·Pitch candidates to clients and vice versa in a dual sales role

·Negotiate with clients to secure the conditions of the deal

·Create your own network and contacts to increase your business and the number of deals you make

Who are they looking for?

To be a graduate recruitment consultant you will ideally be a graduate with a 2.1 or above from a top 30 University (2.2s will be accepted with good commercial experience or extracurricular achievements).

The role of a graduate recruitment consultant is tough - you will be making a lot of sales calls each day and will have targets to meet so we are looking for graduates who can demonstrate the following attributes:
