JOB TITLE: Graduate Scheme in Recruitment Consultancy
SALARY: 23k basic as a Trainee (this will rise to a 26k basic within 6 months) + OTE of around 40k in your first year, 60k in your second

Who will you be working for as a graduate recruitment consultant?
This company is a specialist permanent and contract staffing business currently comprised of 4 operating brands. Their first office opened in 1986 in London and in 1998 they began their international expansion with the launch of their first European office in Brussels. They currently have 22 UK offices and 30 non-UK offices. They are currently looking for several excellent graduate recruitment consultants
The role of a graduate recruitment consultant?
Recruitment is a fast paced energetic sales environment that offers the ability to earn money quickly and progress in your career through a meritocratic company. As a graduate recruitment consultant you will work in an office environment and on phones dealing with candidates and clients on a daily basis.
The role of a graduate recruitment consultant involves cold calling to win new business and sourcing candidates through advertising and headhunting. You will be interviewing candidates and negotiating terms of business while maintaining successful client relationships.
There are a lot of things to juggle as a graduate recruitment consultant so you have to keep your wits about you but as long as you can keep it going you should be hitting your targets, earning commission and celebrating your success each month!
Who we are looking for as graduate recruitment consultants?
A graduate with astrong desire to work in a sales driven environment where they are rewarded for the work they put in. You will be competitive, tenacious and financially motivated. Recruitment isn’t easy and you will need to be able to handle a fast pace over long hours - you must be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and resilient nature.
Ideally we would like to speak to graduates who already know what it’s like to work hard in a commercial environment - preferably B2B sales. This could be during a gap year, alongside studies, on an industrial placement or a post university role.
We also really like candidates who have gone the extra mile at university and really got involved - have you got extracurricular achievements?
Previous recruitment experience is not necessary due to the training provided - although we are always interested in talking to anyone who has had a bit of experience in the recruitment industry but fancies a change of company.
