Position: Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Salary: £24k basic + uncapped commission (£40k 1st year OTE, £60k 2nd year OTE)

The role of a trainee recruitment consultant:
As a trainee recruitment consultant you will be given all the training and support required to learn your sector and approach the recruitment market. You will be responsible for speaking to pharmaceutical professionals, screening them on behalf of your clients’ requirements and gaining their interest. The role will also involve cold calling, building relationships and networking with potential clients, selling your services. The role is very fast paced with targets needing to be met but in a non KPI environment.

To apply for the role you will either be a recent graduate or have strong A-Levels. You will have a minimum of six months sales experience. This could be from a telephone based role or perhaps direct sales or estate agency. Above all you need to have the right attitude. Recruitment can be challenging and hard work and you must have the ambition, drive and determination to succeed. It's not enough to want to work in recruitment, you must really know why you need to do this job. You will have a thorough understanding of the role of a recruiter and be prepared to explain why you would be successful in the position.
