Your new job working as a Account Handler handling Medical Malpractice business will be working for an established independent Broker, recognised in the industry for being a leader within the Medical Malpractice and Healthcare industry. Your new Brokers are committed to continuing to work in partnership with their clients whilst maintaining their independent status, with many years' experience in their field they offer an excellent service for all their client's needs. Due to continued growth within the division, they are looking to recruit a Account Handler to take their forward-thinking brokers to the next level.

Your new role
Your new role working as a Account Handler handling Medical Malpractice business means you will be responsible for promoting and supporting the Professional Medical team both internally and externally to clients, the insurance market and other third parties. Dealing with clients from inception to completion you will support the team on a portfolio of UK accounts. Duties will include the accurate preparation of presentations, claims files and report writing to both the market and clients. Other duties will include handling enquiries broking and placing as suitable, liaising extensively with clients and Underwriters and building a rapport. Handle all the administration of new business and renewals in support of Account Executives as well as own Portfolio of clients andcheck policy documents for accuracy.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as an Account Handler, handling UK Medical Malpractice will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally you will be CERT CII qualified and have a few years + years prior experience in in Medical Malpractice as well as Commercial Combined Covers and the Healthcare sector. You will also have good interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to develop and sustain relationships with both clients and colleagues.
