Your new job working as a Senior Marine Technician will be working for one the world's largest Lloyd's Broker and risk management companies. Due to the growth within their Marine Hull team your new Brokers are looking for a Senior Marine Hull Technician to work as part of their established Hull and Liability department.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Marine Hull Technician means you will deal with the technical elements of Marine Insurance from inception to completion, and to manage the clients, Broker and Underwriter needs to place Global Hull Accounts. Your new job working as a Senior Marine Hull Technician will be responsible for liaising directly with clients (Direct and Wholesale) in respect of their insurance requirements and work alongside the producer/broker to translate this into an effective market presentation include MRC slips, Presentations to the market etc. Your role will also include managing client queries as well as liaise with insurers on a daily basis. You will also support the Leadership Team in developing, growing, and delivering operational plans and revenue targets. Managing your own workload to effectively service the client's relationship and complete placements within given deadlines.
What you need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Marine Hull & Liability Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally you will be Cert CII, Dip CII qualified, along with a robust knowledge of Marine products and services. You will have Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient in presenting to any audience, with a strategic mindset and problem-solving attitude. Other duties will include leading teams through difficulties and challenges to meet business objectives using effective and dedicated leadership skills as well as, showing leadership skills driving an inspiring culture, significant senior level experience of handling resources.
