Your new role
Working as a Legacy Operation Manager, you will be responsible for working effectively and collaboratively and to build & lead a team of IBA Technicians, providing supervisory and technical guidance on various Legacy Team projects under this programme. You will need to provide technical solutions and guidance to colleagues, undertake investigations and liaise with business units including finance and underwriting and the binder broker in order to achieve targets and deliver an excellent and comprehensive service. You will be responsible for Successfully creating the in-house operating platform to ensure a smooth transition from a Binder broker to in-house processing of legacy binders. It will be your duty to Lead Reconciliation projects to ensure premium and claims have been fully processed from Coverholder through to Carriers, Interrogate Coverholder and Binder broker data sets and ledgers, ensuring final positions are summarised and reported at the point of Broker on record transfer.
Other duties will include investigation, administration and processing of accounting transactions on legacy systems & processes to address outstanding ledger balances including: payable balances unallocated cash, unallocated cash, claims receipts.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working in a management/operational role within a Lloyd's Broker, MGA or Syndicate where you have handled Legacy operations risks and MI analyst will contribute to your success in securing the role. You will need to have excellent communication and relationship building skills, with previous experience of working as a Insurance Operational Analyst, Financial Technician, reconciling ledgers. You will also need to be able to manipulate and understand bordereaux and financial data. You will be experienced in leading a team and be confident when it comes to streamlining operational structures. Your excellent planning, time management and organisation skills alongside your drive and motivation will allow you to adapt well into a diverse and growing Operations team. Other key attributes will include Attention to detail with ability to produce accurate documentation and appropriate filing of documents, An in-depth knowledge of processes and procedures with in the Insurance market and Provide strong leadership and direct and manage
