An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Assistant for my Client based on the outskirts of Preston town Centre.
The role will involve assisting with the efficient and effective operation of the Procurement Department, providing routine administrative support, and dealing with suppliers. You will have the ability to negotiate and influence suppliers in daily routine matters such as purchase orders and deliveries.
Duties include: Ensure that stock levels within the business are kept up to date by placing regular orders, sourcing new products and prices and searching for specific products.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
A good telephone manner
Able to communicate well at all levels.
Computer skills (knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm.
