Global broker looking for a B2B Telemarketer/Appointment Setter based in Sheffield due to business growth.
No insurance experience is required, but you will be expected to produce quality appointments through contacting existing prospects as well as researching directories/internet sites for new prospects. Followed by confirming appointments and sending information to prospects by email. You will be expected to reach monthly appointment setting targets.
You will be liaising with consultants on a regular basis regarding scheduled appointments and feedback on previous appointments.
You will need to maintain a database of prospect information and keep product information up to date. You will also be coming up with fresh ideas for new campaigns and target sectors.
The right candidate must have experience in making outgoing business development calls to new prospects and experience of working in a targeted environment. It is imperative to have outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
You must have experience of working with database/CRM packages and carry skills to confidently use Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
Industry knowledge within Health & Benefits and sales experience is desirable but not essential.
