Account Handler required to join a well-established independent insurance broker due to continuous growth of its SME hub in Sheffield.
You will be managing a book of renewals, which include new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments. The role entails dealing with SME clients across a range of industry sectors including Construction and Transport. You will be responsible for determining the best cover to suit the needs of the client which may include products such as Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Motor Fleet. You will need to organise and check insurance policy documentation, ensuring that policy coverage is adequate as well as dealing client queries effectively and in a professional manner.
You will need a good level of general insurance knowledge for this role and any experience in dealing with SME size clients would be an advantage. You will need strong attention to detail and be able to demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills. Furthermore, you will need to be able to build rapport to develop strong client and insurer relationships.
