We are recruiting an interesting and challenging role for one of the UK's leading manufacturing retailers in their Group Transformation project. Reporting to the Head of Group Finance Systems and Transformation, this role will help deliver on key Transformation initiatives from a project / process viewpoint. These will have been agreed as part of the Group finance systems and transformation roadmap. This is a key strategic role and you will be sat at the decision making table on a regular basis. There will be the need to hold your head above the parapet and advise on strategic direction.
You will work with key stakeholders to assess current working practices and using a variety of principles (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean etc.) help innovate, design and create end to end new ways of working that are optimized, remove waste and harness the power of our Group Finance Systems and Processes to their fullest. There will be a need to drive and embed a continuous improvement culture within Group Finance by engaging with team members and delivering change in a positive way.
There will be a need for strong project management and end to end process design skills. You will work closely with the Group Finance Systems Partner to innovate and determine opportunities for system enhancements and integrations that will drive our transformation roadmap outside of those already agreed. You will need experience of delivering Finance Transformation in a Lead Analyst type role or similar, using principles such as Lean/Six Sigma etc, with ability to run projects, design processes and create system integrations/development plans
Ideally you will come from a finance background across all aspects of finance - given you will be working closely with all key Finance stakeholders. You will manage the key relationships and maintain stakeholder buy in through effective and open communication - so your ability business partner and develop strong relationships will be key.
