Our client, a distinguished law firm with multiple offices across the South West, requires an HR Coordinator to join their friendly Exeter team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this fast-paced role, you will support the HR team in all areas of the HR mix, provide high-quality administrative support and coordinate/drive HR projects forward. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience as a Senior HR Administrator, HR Assistant or HR Coordinator, excellent communication skills, and strong IT skills.

Hours are 9 am - 5.15 pm Monday to Friday, but you may be required to work outside of normal office hours as and when the business requires.

Responsibilities include: -

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the HR team
  • Work on projects and support the team in all areas of the HR mix, including recruitment, graduate recruitment & apprenticeships, training and learning, reward, employee relations, and wellbeing
  • Deal with compliance related tasks and liaise with third party suppliers
  • Take responsibility for coordinating and driving HR projects forward, ensuring that deadlines are met

Requirements: -

  • You will have at least 2 years experience as a Senior HR Administrator, HR Assistant or HR Coordinator
  • A good up to date understanding of employment law
  • Experience of working in a law firm is desirable but not essential
  • You will have a full and busy workload, so it is essential that you can meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Confident in your approach and able to take initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Proficient in all areas of ICT, including experience of using HR software
