Join our team as a HSE Manager to ensure the site operates to appropriate standards of Health, Safety and environmental meeting all regulatory requirements.

You will be working at one of our most successful group of sites which is based in Southall, Middlesex, comprises 4 food production facilities manufacturing chilled ready meals and snacks for major high street retailers. The network of sites is a major employer in the local area and enjoys a broad ethnic mix amongst its workforce with strong “family” traditions and ethical standards that generate huge pride in the business, in its products and in its history.

Key responsibilities

  • To partner with the GM and Site leadership team to achieve the business goals in the short and long term through a focus on Health, Safety and Environment.
  • To drive the delivery of the site strategy for Health, Safety & Environment
  • Providing clear standards, measures and governance on HS&E
  • To hold the SLT to account in delivering against their HS&E Responsibilities
  • Assuring compliance to the HS&E standards
  • To ensure that the site operates to appropriate standards of Safety, Health and Environmental meeting all regulatory requirements as a minimum.

Qualifications and skills

  • Leadership
  • Experience with Health, Safety and Environment systems
  • Must hold NEBOSH Certificate
  • Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent
  • Strong Influencing skills
