The top billers of the company see themselves bringing in up to £700k, and one employee is on track to bill £400k after just 3 years at the company. Recruitment is currently a thriving industry, and our clients are planning to double in size over the next year, with plans to open offices in both New York and Berlin.
The Role - Recruitment Consultant
Recruitment is essentially a sales role - you are selling people to people (professional matchmaking if you will).
As a recruitment consultant your role is split into two parts: Business development and candidate sourcing.
- Cold calling potential new clients
- Building and maintaining relationships
- Going to client meetings to keep up to date on hiring criteria
- Headhunting, Advertising, Networking, Database
- Screening CV’s
- Interviewing candidates
- Prepping candidates for interviews
Throughout the process you will act as the 'middleman’, navigating the process and ensuring both sides know who they are seeing and when, and then gathering feedback from your client and candidate. When an offer is put on the table it is then your responsibility to negotiate the best deal for your candidate.
