Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our expanding team. Arrow has recently established a Fund and Investment Management (FIM) business division and we are looking to establish a new Operations department to provide support and structure to the fund through the deal / fund lifecycle to enable effective management and scalability.

Reporting into the FIM Operations Director, the FIM Operations Manager will ensure new transactions are effectively managed, assist in general fund operational matters and help develop and embed new operational processes and procedures to drive overall fund operational effectiveness. 

The role will be based at our Manchester office combined with home working. Due to the current Pandemic this will initially be a home-based role.

What will you be doing?

  • Work closely with key stakeholders both internally and externally   
  • Support in more complex or non-standard transactions, working alongside the wider deal teams, and take ownership of fund operational actions
  • Maintain the Fund Operations priority list and reporting on progress
  • Implement identified post deal management activities
  • Manage post deal documentation and liaising as appropriate with any third parties
  • Ensure the Fund Management system is updated
  • Monitor the completeness of all deal decisioning minutes, internal approval papers, including ensuring all conditions have been met and issues resolved
  • Track and ensure compliance with interest payment dates and supporting the cash flow movements across the vehicles
  • Project manage items such as the opening of bank accounts, custody accounts and setting up of new entities
  • Support in reviewing any restructure/cost optimisation steps, and implementation thereafter
  • Combine & close entities
  • Manage changes in Service providers and associated onboarding requirements
  • Maintain and updating the library of processes
  • General process optimisation and implementation

Is this you?

  • Strong background in Financial Services (banking or accountancy) or Legal Services
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in Fund Management Operations
  • Experience within structuring and securitisation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Well organised and able to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
  • Pro-active and able to organise own workload
