It never leaves you does it? When you're a leader you're a leader. You don't want to help because it's your job. You want to help because you love seeing your advisers flourish.

This is a new position for a firm that is growing by acquiring client portfolios from retiring IFAs. The next stage in their development is to grow their adviser numbers to 9-10 in the next 6 months. Those hires will be more experienced planners and you'll be overseeing them.

You'll be managing a team with a varying degree of experience. Several have come through the ranks. Several others are at the start of their advice career. Others are much more experienced.

That means a combination of recruitment, training and coaching. Getting the best out of experienced planners and releasing the potential of more junior ones.

The advisers themselves will be busy. Each have sizeable client portfolios provided by the firm and you'll guide them when it comes to new business.

You'll be an experienced sales manager from a financial planning background. You'll enjoy getting the best out of people. And you'll enjoy the challenge of working with advisers with varying levels of experience.

Level 4 status is a must.

It's a Manchester firm with advisers across the North West and Midlands.

Salary wise it will be c£80,000 plus bonus.
