An exciting and innovative Healthcare company with various offices in the North West are seeking a new Permanent Account Manager (B2B) to join their team in Manchester, paying a competitive salary dependant on experience. This organisation are ideally looking for a graduate in Science who has an interest in working on the Commercial side of the business, or a graduate who has done a Business degree but has an interest in working within the science industry.

Employing around 240 staff, this organisation have enjoyed phenomenal growth in the last year, and are looking for someone innovative and ambitious, who can nurture the existing client base and upsell accordingly.

The purpose of the role is to provide the highest levels of commercial Customer Service to this businesses customers, working with complex, multi-site businesses and spotting opportunities for further sales opportunities. Please see below an overview of your key responsibilities:

  • Manage customer relationships with existing clients, dealing with any queries and issues they may have
  • Identify business opportunities and develop these accordingly
  • Daily catch ups with clients, occasionally meeting with clients face to face
  • Create new sales opportunities through networking, turning them into long term partnerships
  • Manage the end to end sales process
  • After-sales support
  • Respond to complaints, resolve issues, and take queries
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Negotiate agreements
  • Updating the system with information, maintaining the customer database

To be considered for this position, you must have the following experience:

  • You must be results driven
  • You must have a Science related degree OR a Business related degree with an interest in science
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Organised, with good time management skills
  • IT literate
  • Must be able to work well within a team
  • You must be able to work from both the Manchester and Barrow sites when required
