 Sales Executive
£37,500 / Uncapped Comms Structure 
Manchester City Centre

A specialist in managed IT services, digital transformation, IT security and cloud hosting. We focus on the SME market across the UK where we design, implement and integrate bespoke tech solutions that form the structure of our client’s businesses.

We are currently undergoing an aggressive period of expansion and investment into opening new offices, bringing in new talent and upgrading our service offering to our clients

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for both driving new business and managing existing accounts. Working in a fast paced role with full autonomy and control over your own accounts, you will drive new business and develop client accounts trying to understand their ongoing IT needs and proposing solutions. You will inherit accounts and be provided with warm leads as well as taking the initiative to generate new opportunities.

About you:

  • ExperienceIdeally you have worked in a new business development role for at least 1 year
  • SectorExperience of selling IT or any technical soluion is advantageous but we are open to any industry or sector
  • Skills: An ability to listen and sell over the phone and on Teams. Relationship building should come naturally to you as well a consultative sales approach
  • Characteristics: We want high energy, high activity individuals who are willing to learn and can adapt themselves to any challenge

Duties of the role

  • Calling new prospects over the phone
  • Researching businesses, connecting with clients, understanding industries and looking for opportunities
  • Understanding your client’s needs, their business and what they are looking for
  • Advising your client’s on what we can do to resolve their problems
  • Discussing technical solutions
  • Identifying opportunities to sell products and services
  • Handling enquiries, overcoming objections and converting leads
  • Creating quotes and negotiating prices
  • Managing your ongoing pipeline
  • Closing deals
  • Account managing clients for repeat business
  • Working to regular KPIs and targets
  • Liaising with the marketing and technical teams
