Following the continued expansion of their business unit across the region; our client is looking to secure the appointment of an Accounts Assistant for the growing team in Manchester City Centre. Reporting to and working closely with the Finance Manager; your role will be extremely varied and will cover all aspects of the ledger and transactional level finance for this local firm.
You will be required to contribute to the smooth running of the finance function from day 1 and will be a key point of contact for the regional client base when necessary making for an interesting, varied and business critical development role. Key duties will include management and ownership of the sales and purchase ledgers, management of commercial client accounts and dealing with suppliers as required, assisting the Finance Manager with reconciliation work, VAT and high level reporting.
This is a varied and interesting role with a fast-paced, well organised, and growing business. Successful applicants will already have some exposure to working within a similar business and ideally be either AAT Qualified (or latter stages) hold a relevant degree or be studying towards their chartered qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
