Role: Business Development Manager (Renewable)

Location: Homebased

Salary: £30,000 + OTE £60,000


My client is a renewable energy technology provider helping commercial clients to understand, execute and benefit from onsite Renewable & Sustainable Energy installation solutions selling Solar Panels, Combined Heat & Power, LED Lighting, as well as helping businesses looking to cut costs and reduce carbon emissions. They are on an exciting journey and are now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to expand the business selling to high energy consuming businesses - SME and I&C. Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the full sales lifecycle from inception to completion
  • Qualify prospects and generate new opportunities
  • Networking and developing relationships with potential customers
  • Reporting on pipeline and monthly sales figures
  • Ensuring targets are achieved, by developing a personal portfolio of high value customers
  • Planning, preparing and attending client meetings, presentations and formal proposals
  • Negotiating and landing deals

Skills and Experience required:

  • Previous experience working in energy Broker
  • A solid background in selling successfully to businesses
  • Self-Motivated & Ambitious
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Commercially astute with a track record delivering to growth targets
  • Ability to manage own timetable and meet deadlines
