We are an international business offering high-quality sensors and monitoring devices for pressure, temperature and SF6 gas density markets. If you are a driven Business Development Manager with experience of selling equipment into the water treatment, refrigeration, hydraulics, or rail industries, we would be delighted to hear from you.

BASIC SALARY: £45,000-£55,000
· Bonus
· £5,000 Car Allowance

LOCATION:Home Based - North UK
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Nottingham, Derby, Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool, Peterborough, Preston, Hull
JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager : Test & Measurement - Rail, Refrigeration
Managing across all our markets; you will be supported / mentored by and report directly to our UK Sales Manager. We are an established team in the UK with an established customer base and desire for growth, our company have a distribution and service network covering over 40 countries as well as 3 manufacturing sites in Germany, Czech Republic and India. As the Business Development Manager, you will be predominantly selling to Design & Project Engineers and selling on specification.
This is a technical business development role and comes with a high level of autonomy. Your main responsibilities will be.
· Developing New Accounts - 60% of your time. Establishing relationships, understanding technical requirements, and generating sales, through specification, based on your knowledge and expertise
· Account Management - 40% of your time. Once established you will assume the management of some well-established accounts with an average order value of £10,000 - £30,000
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager : Test & Measurement - Rail, Refrigeration
You will be adept at both sales and account management and be looking for a role where you will have freedom and flexibility which will naturally come with accountability.
In addition to this you will also have:
· Solid experience of selling test and measurement instrumentation or components
· The desire to manage your own diary and territory across the North of the UK
· Experience of selling any - test & measurement to sensing & monitoring equipment or selling into the Railway, Refrigeration, Hydraulics & Water treatment markets would be desirable
