Exciting opportunity has arisen with a company who has seen significant growth and had their most successful year through 2020 during the pandemic. The firm embraces technology and are looking to grow their social media presence throughout 2021 and beyond to engage with a new audience of client.

Within the practice sits six fully qualified Financial Planners (three of whom provide financial advice and three who work as Paraplanners to support the advisers).

With further growth projected for the future, this is a great opportunity for the long term, you will grow with the business supporting a team of Financial Planners and Paraplanners and the Administrative team in the running of the office.

Job Description:

You will provide efficient administrative support to the Advisers within the practice in respect of the business generated and the servicing of existing clients. You will produce all the relevant paperwork for the client, on behalf of the Adviser, including (but not limited to), quotations, advice, illustrations, and valuations as well as processing all new business documentation in accordance with the agreed service and quality standards.

You will handle queries from clients and third parties and take the appropriate action to ensure the query is dealt with in a timely and effective manner.

Your role will include: -

  • Diary management/Arranging appointments,
  • Preparing advice and meeting documentation
  • Proof reading and formatting reports
  • Business processing
  • Documenting the advice process, meetings and client contact to ensure it is recorded accurately to demonstrate client servicing and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Client servicing requests
  • Compliance- Ensuring all relevant compliance is in place for practice and business submission
  • General office management including, answering the telephone/reception duties; ordering stationery, IT and postal duties.

Person Specification:

This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative. You will have exceptional communication skills and be highly organised with an excellent eye for detail. You will have the ability to perform well under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy throughout your work.

You must have the ability to work on a high volume of tasks during a day and to be a strong organiser who is capable of prioritising and maintaining their own workload.

Experience required:

  • You will need to demonstrate previous office management, administrative or personal assistant experience and good IT skills. Since you will have regular contact with clients, it is essential that you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.
  • It would be useful, but not essential, to have worked in a financial services or professional service environment or have a financial background.
  • Alternatively, the company would consider a 2020/2021 graduate who is looking to develop and progress within a dynamic wealth management company who has obtained a First-class degree in any vocation.

Additional Information:

Full Time

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: £28-35,000 for an experienced Administrator or £20-24,000 for a Graduate

Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Holiday: 25 days (including 6 days at Christmas)
