Job Title: Contract Manager

Eden Brown Synergy is working in partnership with an NHS Organisation who are seeking to recruit a Contract Manager. The post holder will support the head of Commissioning and hold responsibility for ensuring that all aspects of commissioning and contract management are applied consistently to regional contracts.

Your new role as a Contract Manager:
* Build effective working relationships and networks with other organisations to support contract negotiations and contract delivery as required.
* Lead on the development of planning activity and expenditure for the year ahead, considering issues including capacity required, funding available, commissioning priorities and risks for both regional contracts.
* Link with internal and external parties to address any service issues with providers
* Develop and lead on specific elements of strategy, business, and development plans.
* Responsible for implementing and contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and processes for, contract development, contract variations, contract monitoring and performance management and Management of reporting requirements and all associated contract documentation
* Responsible for supporting multi-disciplinary involvement in developing, agreeing, and monitoring contracts
* Lead reviews of the capacity, suitability, and cost effectiveness of the regional services commissioned, and provide advice regarding the contracting of specific services to achieve appropriate care and performance targets
* Responsible for providing contracting advice and guidance, and providing accurate, timely and detailed information and analysis to CCG colleagues, Senior Management Team and Governing Bodies to support CCG commissioning decisions regarding regional services.
* Provide assurance to the Senior Management Team and Governing Bodies in relation to the performance of specified contracts.

Experience & Qualifications Required:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent level qualification/significant experience
* Experience of Contract Management
* Experience of Commissioning healthcare services
* Public sector experience

The role is currently remote but this could change during the contract to a hybrid model. The role will last until the end of March initially.
