The waste management industry in the UK has undergone many changes in the past decade. Increasing regulation has been introduced with the ultimate aim of reducing the UK's traditional reliance on landfill disposal. The business is at the forefront of meeting these industry challenges, and are committed to the principle of sustainable waste management.

Due to expansion, our client is looking to recruit a capable, enthusiastic and committed Administrative Assistant. 

The Role

You will be helping the company manage its paperwork and ensuring data entry and filing is conducted correctly, to a high standard while providing administrative assistance to customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and support administrative tasks and processes across the team, in support of team outcomes

Manual filing of waste and finical records

Providing support to team members and customer were reasonable

Answer phones, emails, and possible Virtual chats

Work to schedule and deadlines, highlighting any issues

Undertake any other reasonable duties as required

Skills and Experience

Ability to undertake assigned tasks in a timely manner and to an acceptable standard

Initiative and judgement to plan or schedule workdays and weeks ahead, and to respond to changing requirements and resolve problems independently

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent Microsoft Office package skills including Word and Excel

Ability to communicate clearly, clarify requirements, and respond to colleagues and customers
