Customs Administrator, - FMCG- Chertsey, Surrey £24K - £28K + bonus + benefits -WFH and office based (KT16) (Full-time ) Permanent (would also consider Part-time)
Customs Administrator, Supply Chain Monday - Friday. Good Railway networks and parking. Great Opportunity in a newly formed team!
Looking for a bright, talented individual that would like to grow within the Company.
Responsibilities of Customs Administrator
* Checking correct paperwork received from international suppliers
* Comparing paperwork with internal systems and dealing with discrepancies
* Uploading data into government systems
* Submitting data to customs agents with tight turnaround
* Keeping systems updated with correct data
* Ensure compliance with HMRC
* Manage responses to HMRC and other UK Governmental Departments regarding submission queries
* Ensure customs requirements are met for shipments to and from the EU
* Key coordination with Technical, finance, suppliers and logistics partners
* Contribute to the ongoing development of business processes
* KPI reporting
Skills & Experience required for Customs Administrator
(Supply Chain) role:
* Extremely organised
* Bright, energetic & organised
* Enjoy working with large sets of data in multiple formats
* Intermediate Excel Skills Essential
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
* To be process driven with great attention to detail and understanding of the importance of compliance
* Problem solving
* Ability to work to tight deadlines
* 2nd language preferred which would be Polish Speaking
* Salary depending on experience
