Are you looking to take on a new challenge?

An exciting opportunity has come up for a Coordinator who will be based at our client's office in Wakefield.

Your role will involve working as part of a small team to continually improve the business process and help manage their mitigation process.

You will be responsible for handling enquiries that come into the logistics Centre and capturing detailed information to ensure the right solution is sourced.

This will involve assessing stock to see if enquires can be fulfilled with assets or hired in through the contract partners. You will be required to manage the hire periods through to resolution for internal and external enquires which will involve chasing different departments and contract partners.

You will help coordinate the workload for both the delivery of internal and external service. This will be achieved by utilising company assets and the in-house fleet of transportation vehicles. This involves planning in work, processing goods and working closely with various teams within the business to ensure they get it right first time.

You will develop an excellent network of contacts, both within the business and with suppliers.

Skills required

You will need excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload within a fast-paced environment.

You need to be hardworking team player who is flexible willing to go the extra mile.

You need to be proactive, self-motivated and be able to use your own initiative to find the right solution or outcome.

You will need to be an excellent communicator with a confident telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills.

You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages.

Experience of SAP is preferable but not essential.

Sound knowledge of logistics ideal but not essential.

Previous customer service and office experience is required.
