Role: eCommerce Content Manager (Fixed Term Contract, December start)

Location: Kemble, Gloucestershire

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 (range dependent on experience)

Tandem Talent are proud to be working with an exciting, people focused retail company. Due to Maternity leave there is a great opportunity for an experienced Content Manager to join a fast paced team, in a retail environment. You would be responsible for managing all written/visual, non product e-commerce content across three branded websites. You’ll also manage a small team of 4 and play a key role in the up-keep of the websites and identify opportunities to improve the copy. Other areas of focus will include:

Develop the online content strategy in conjunction with the marketing team to meet company objectives, within brand guidelines and in line with the eCommerce Strategy

Working with in-house colleagues and external parties to produce suitable written and visual content that is consistent with other channels to support our positioning as a leading Omnichannel retailer

Using your understanding of how customers use information throughout their purchase decision, to present the appropriate content on desktop, tablet and mobile devices

*

Benchmarking against competitors to maintain an understanding of the multi-channel retailing environment, and the impact of evolving buying behaviour across all channels

*

Implementing online content onto the site using a Content Management System (CMS) and third party software

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an e-commerce content environment and knowledge of using a Content Management system. You will also have an understanding of basic SEO and proven project management experience,

An interest/knowledge of the outdoors and sports in the industry would be beneficial.
